Description
Selecting the correct shoe for the application your machine will be working in is a very important part of minimizing the expense of undercarriage.
The general rule of thumb, is choose the narrowest shoe possible that still provides adequate flotation.
This will help minimize the internal wear on pins and bushes due to the additional leverage of wide plates, require less power to turn, and reduce the likelihood of bent or cracked shoes.
Track Shoes also come in different thicknesses depending on the application of the machine.
