A green culmed, small leafed bamboo. Originates from the Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory. Traditionally used by the Aboriginals for didgeridoo making etc.
The new shoots are edible and have a very distinct lime green colour - unlike any other bamboo.
Its growth habit may be described as somewhat scruffy. Not a great landscaping plant, but does produce very strong bamboo timber poles.
More for the collector or timber grower.
